Just looking at him you would have no reason to suspect that he's not human, because to all appearances he is. In the first two seasons, he has scars on his back, and he will refuse to talk about them, or let anyone touch them. In seasons three and four he no longer has them. (They are gone at his canon point in Mask or Menace.) He also has a pair of angel wings, but he hides them and it is rare that anyone will ever see them. He also has glowing red eyes and a Devil face that he can switch to/between at will, but those are hidden most of the time because he only brings them out to punish people. And Heaven help you if you ever see his full Devil form (although if it's gotten that far, Heaven can't help you anymore). ♚ FASHION: Think expensive. Yes, the Devil does indeed wear Prada. Tailored, not off the rack. He usually wears dark colors, but sometimes wears something lighter or with pinstripes. Sometimes it's a three-piece suit, sometimes it's not. Sometimes he wears a tie, sometimes he doesn't. He usually does have a pocket square. Think something along the lines of this or this. ♚ DEMEANOR: People desire him, and he knows it. He's also got the biggest ego of anyone most people will ever meet. Angel-sized ego. Very sure of himself. Most of the time he seems to be enjoying his life, but when he's angry, it's obvious he's angry. ♚ SOUND: Typical British English. This video shows a lot of the things already mentioned. ♚ SCENT: Clean, and like expensive aftershave or cologne. He doesn't skimp on expense anywhere. ♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: He has no mental blocks. You just might not want to poke around in there. ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: He's not human. He's a celestial being. ★ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: I will usually backtag into forever (or at least a couple of months), so bring it on. ♚ FOURTHWALLING: He watches a lot of movies, so he might recognize characters from them. He's more likely to recognize them as an actor playing a role, though. And if anyone wants to go "you're the Devil!" at him, all he'll have to say to that is, "FINALLY someone who believes me!" So bring that on too. ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Hugs make him uncomfortable. He doesn't know what to do with them. The mun however thinks it's hilarious when he gets hugs, so go right ahead. Things like sex, however, he has no problem with. In fact he enjoys that quite a lot. Physical intimacy is his favorite kind of intimacy. Emotional intimacy is what confuses him. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: He has no problem with violence. He is, however, incredibly strong, so you might want to think twice before starting anything or you'll find yourself two rooms over before you even know what's happening. He will stop short of actually killing though. ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: If you're not Chloe Decker, it's not going to happen. ★ Permissions ♚ FIRST THING: Desire exhibition. Lucifer has the ability to draw out someone's secret, deepest desire, just by looking them in the eyes and asking a simple question. (If for some reason his control over this goes haywire, people may start admitting their desires without him even having to ask. This is, however, highly unlikely.) This works on humans, with one known exception, and only if he asks directly. It does not work on celestial beings or, as far as we know, demons, at least the ones from his world. So: if your character is supernatural, it's up to you if they're affected or not. If they're human and you don't want this to happen to them, they're either able to resist somehow or we'll find a way to end the scene before it gets to that point. ♚ SECOND THING: More desire exhibition. In addition to drawing out desires, people tend to desire him, with him doing nothing more than walking into a room. This makes it easy for him to get what he wants, BUT only things that they're willing to give. Whether or not a character is willing to give something up is on an individual basis and entirely up to you. ♚ THIRD THING: He's strong. Incredibly strong. He can throw someone through a plate-glass window or off a roof with a slight push. He's also incredibly hard to kill (but, in this game, it's not impossible). So if you want to get in a fight with him, go ahead, I guess? You're just not likely to win. However, he does not (intentionally) kill humans, so any fight that does happen should stop before it gets that far. ♚ PERMISSION: Any of these things can be discussed or avoided on an as-needed basis, but if you want to say anything here, or have any questions, drop them in the comments here! |
